The room was surprisingly quite small, didn’t expect such a size. Although for this price and its location in Tokyo, it’s expected. Clean stay and good service

I stayed for three nights, but the pillowcases and bedding were not changed for three days. I would have preferred new ones even for consecutive nights. The Apa President Curry was quite delicious. It's new and close to the station, so it's very convenient for going to Ikebukuro and Shinjuku.

Nice clean hotel very close to the Yamanote metro line, 3 min walk Away. Roms are small but comfy. Staff is nice and helpfull but dont expect 1 minute earlier check in if you dont pay extra. Lifts are a nightmare at around 10 am and you Can wait a Long time to get down due to check outs. Checkout was easy. Breakfast in the café was only good for those who enjoy fish and Coffee ø, the western style was terrible as in most Japanese hotels, but there are a lots of good caffees in the area that gives you an better offer.

A mistake we won’t make again. Many people have warned as of the poor customwr service and clientele. Unfortunately, it was a regrettable decision. The front desk staff were shockingly rude and unhelpful, easily the worst customer service we encountered during our entire trip to Japan. Despite having a linked reservation to extend our stay, they insisted we check out and check back in on the same day, causing unnecessary inconvenience. Had we known, we would’ve chosen a different hotel entirely. The hotel itself is in poor condition. The climate control is ineffective, leaving rooms stuffy and uncomfortable, and there’s a persistent moldy smell throughout the building. Dust is everywhere, further contributing to the unpleasant environment. The facilities are inadequate for the volume of guests. There are only four washing machines to serve 19 floors (with 24–35 rooms per floor), and the elevator system is poorly programmed, leading to long wait times. The rooms are tiny, poorly maintained, and lack basic amenities. The communal bath is unsanitary, as many guests ignore hygiene rules and don’t wash beforehand. This made the experience unhygienic and unpleasant. Save yourself the trouble—stay elsewhere. This hotel is old, dirty, and badly managed. A truly disappointing experience.

The hotel is quite convenient, and it's near Otsuka station. The room has pretty much everything you will need. The only drawback could be that the room is small (however most rooms across japan are not that spacious as far as I know, and the area is not really fancy)

I visited during the Tokyo Marathon event to support a friend. the hotel location is very close to the Otsuka train station using the Yamanote line (100 m). No need to worry about staying anywhere if you visit Tokyo, the important thing is close to the train station. The APA hotel network has become my main destination to stay when traveling to Japan and I have stayed there several times and it has never disappointed me. With a very affordable price, this is a super clean hotel, although the room is quite small but for me it is very sufficient. and always special in this hotel chain, no matter how small the room is, there is always a bathtub with hot water so it is comfortable to rest when tired of traveling. Highly recommended in terms of price, location, and cleanliness which is very special.

This was our least favorite of the 5 hotels we stayed at while in Japan. Glad it was only for 3 nights. The double bed room we had was teeny, tiny and HOT. Unfortunately, the rooms were not individually regulated and the hotel had turned on the heat despite the temperature being 20+ degrees outside. And you aren't allowed to crack the windows. So hot room and no AC... :( Most of the front staff were pleasant to deal with. The plus here is the location. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores close by and a 5 min walk from the train station. We didn't use the public onsen or eat at the restaurant in the hotel.

My first visit to Japan and I loved it!! I was nervous about staying at this hotel because I thought it might be too far from the main sights in Tokyo, but it was actually perfect. It's only about a 4-5 minute walk from the Otsuka Station on the Yamamoto line. You can easliy reach anywhere in Tokyo on the JR line and connect to metro (if needed) or walk about 10 minutes to the nearest metro stop and take it. Very convenient transportation available. There's many restaurants, shops, and convenience stores close by. I felt like I was in more of a residential/neighborhood type area than the main touristy areas of Tokyo which meant is was a little quieter and not as busy. I felt very comfortable and safe walking around. The hotel is so clean, organized, tech savvy and had amazing City views. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast too. There are enough choices to make even picky eaters happy. The spa was fantastic and felt great after a full day of walking around the city. For the price of the hotel, you cannot beat the cleanliness, amenities, and proximity to public transport. The only negative I can mention is the rooms are super tiny...at least compared to American standards. But, I believe this is common for Tokyo hotels. The rooms still have everything you need.

I used this hotel because I had business in the Otsuka area. There are 4 elevators, but there are only 3 at night, so you may have to wait. It is close to the station, less than 5 minutes away, and has a large public bath on the top floor (20th floor), which is a good point! There are several convenience stores near the hotel. It is also easy to access the Ikebukuro area.
