"I stayed at Fukuoka Tenjin Toyoko Inn for three days and the overall experience was very satisfying! The hotel's location is very convenient, within walking distance of Tenjin's main shopping areas and dining options, and the surrounding environment is quite safe.
The room was clean and comfortable, with all the facilities available. The bed in particular was very comfortable, allowing me to have a good sleep every night. The bathroom facilities were also very clean and there was plenty of hot water, which made me feel relaxed.
The hotel staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. They have given me a lot of help whether it is reception during check-in or asking for local travel information. The breakfast has a variety of choices and tastes good, allowing me to start my day with delicious food every day.
Overall, this is a cost-effective accommodation option. I highly recommend Fukuoka Tenjin Toyoko Sake whether you are traveling for business or pleasure! Looking forward to coming again next time!"
"Self-service check-in and check-out. I didn't see any service staff the whole time, which was a very novel experience.
The room is very large, it is a two-bedroom and two-living room apartment. The split-level design of the living room is a bit confusing. In fact, the size of a normal living room is enough for a large family to live in.
The hygiene is slightly worse than other hotels in Japan, but it is acceptable. Towels and toiletries are provided in sufficient quantities.
There is also a Japanese garden near the downstairs, which is marked on the map. You can go there when you have time.
The disadvantage is that you cannot store your luggage at the self-service check-in. You must leave with your luggage at 11 o'clock, otherwise the door will not open. The luggage storage at Hakata Station is often full, so it is recommended to arrange the itinerary reasonably if you want to play around the surrounding area after checking out."
"The room is very clean, spacious and comfortable, and close to the bus station. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes' walk away, which is very convenient. The taxi fare from the airport to the store can be reimbursed, but you need to arrive before the staff gets off work to get reimbursed. Check-in and check-out are self-service, which is not very friendly to people who are not good at Japanese or English. Although there is a Chinese operation page, I encountered some trouble when entering the information. I called the staff for help and it was solved, but the premise is that the staff has not gotten off work. If you drive there, you need to contact in advance to confirm the parking space. There is also no cooking utensils in the room, only cups and plates. If you need pots and knives, you need to contact in advance, pay to rent them, and you need to bring your own seasoning. The room itself is very good and impeccable, but the service is slightly lacking."

"Conviently located. Just cross the street is the JR Station. Room though not big but good enough for one person. Staff at the reception can speak good English and will certainly recommend this hotel for other visitors."
"A slightly aged hotel, but still very functional, spacious and comfortable.
Our plan also included the access to the GRAND CLUB whole day, which provides breakfast, refreshments during the day, and all kinds of wine paired with a good collection of food at night at their cocktail hour. And yes all the food in breakfast and at the cocktail hour were great.
The location is fine, though you do need to travel back to hakata station or tenjin station depending on your itinerary"
"Its location is great, with just a few blocks of streets from Hakata Eki. It provides washing machines and dryers for laundry.
Yet, the room is very tiny and we find no spaces to place and open up our two pieces (one big and one small) of baggage.
Besides, there is no sill, leaving a big gap between the floor carpet and the door, and the dust or even bugs, if any, could come into the room easily from the lift lobby.
If two or more tourists guidebooks of the same language about the scenic spots or local attractions in the neighbouring towns or cities with in*fo of transportation could be placed in the reception lobby, it will help guests plan their journeys during the days of stays in the hotel.
Furthermore, room cleaning service should be provided on as early as the third day if the guests like us stay three nights or more."
"The hotel booked for the concert was a 20-minute walk from the subway station, which was a bit far. On check-in day, we took Uber. As soon as we arrived, the hotel staff immediately helped us carry our luggage. Our luggage was already put away before we even got out of the car. The front desk staff speaks fluent English. It is recommended to include breakfast when booking. Breakfast is a buffet with a wide variety of food and great value for money. The room is a sea view room, the room is big enough and very comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle bus to and from the subway, but it is only available on Saturdays and Sundays."
"Room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The shower water pressure was excellent. Convenient locations with lots of great restaurant options nearby."
"The hotel is very close to Hakata Station, making it a convenient choice for travelers. The lobby is spacious, and the rooms are quite large. The reception staff speaks good English and provides attentive service. The room is well-equipped with toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, face lotion and hand cream, and offers high-quality coffee and tea.The only downside is that none of the rooms have windows, which may not be ideal for some guests. However, overall, it was a comfortable stay."

Very Good
CChung See Joyce15 minutes walkable distance from JR Hakata station. The hotel also is very close to supermarket or shopping mall. The hotel is tidy and clean, and we love the public bath house. The hotel provide parking space the price is a bit high, it charged 2000yen per night, It's better to choose the parking lot nearby.
The room type included washing machine is very convenient for family travellers.

Zzh3usFull marks for Dormy Inn, we had impeccable service from the service team over there this time round. As we were using them as a platform to travel throughout Kyushu, we had left some baggage with them while we were away. They were nice enough to keep the baggage for us after they had validated that we have subsequent booking.
The breakfast roast beef was 10/10 best ever, they had an expensive Balmuda Toaster which allows for your toast to be fluffy while crispy and they have a Japanese style breakfast spread consisting of small plates including Mentaiko and Salmon Tartare.
Location is close to Hakata Station, it takes about 12 minutes walk to reach there. Just opposite is FUK Coffee, they serve fantastic expresso coffee and just down the street on the left is an AEON MAX VALUE 24 hour supermarket with cheap bentos, sushi, alcohol and sashimi available. Moving more on the left side direction is a shopping street with Daiso and other amenities.
I have to say that in general, Dormy Inn’s public baths – onsen facilities are top notch, they do not close after midnight (other than the sauna), the shower head is $300 in price from Refa and their hot water mixer taps are not press per use, but those normal ones you just turn on and it runs the water. The public bath is 10/10 fantastic.
During our last night there, Super Typhoon Kong-Rey was in the area and we had huge rainfall. Dormy Inn lent us umbrellas and it was the first time we experienced the fact that many of the guests decided to stay in and not go out. The public bath was full and the free ice cream was almost gone! The free noodles given out from 2130 – 2300 was so full they ran out of noodles and they were nice enough to give the guest that missed out instant versions so that they did not need to leave the hotel in the rain.
Overall I feel that they deserve full 5 stars, I really enjoyed my stay there and wish the staff all the best and thank you for the service!

GGuest UserClean and big hotel room. Our family of 5 stayed in a spacious room with 3 large double beds. We can easily open our 3 large suitcases with plenty of space to walk around. Friendly and professional staff. Easy to park downstairs and convenient to retrieve the car. It’s automatic parking, you just drive the car into the elevator with assistance from a staff and it’ll park for you. There’s a Lawson right across from the hotel. Coin laundry with 5 washers and 5 dryers on the 3/F. There’s also an onsen for hotel guests on the 3/F.
DDenna HeryatiWe stayed for 4 nights in residential room which provides kitchen facilities (we only used the kettle) as well as washer/dryer (which we used often and really grateful for this service). We stayed here too about a week ago and hotel provides free luggage storage (for our large suitcase) for our 2nd check in.
Location is excellent with bus terminal and subway station very close by. Also surrounded by department stores, restaurants as well as Yatai.
Reception staff always so attentive; they were also able to book us a taxi to the airport for our morning flight.
Will definitely stay here for my future trips to Fukuoka.
AAnonymous UserExcellent location. Good variety of buffet breakfast items, however lack of insufficient staff for food and utensils replacement and table cleaning. A long queue for entry and getting food. Green tea machines have been broken down for a few days, but no alternative individual tea bag provided. It needs to be improved.
NNattidaOverall condition and the location of the hotel is good. Just 15 mins walk from hakata station. But the wifi is something they need to look into. I couldn't connect to wifi at all during the peak time that I guess a lot of guests connected at the same time.

TTabby YipGreat location, right next to the Canal City Mall, less than 10mins. walk from the Hakata Station, won't take long going to/from the airport. A large variety of restaurants and shops around, satisfying every need. Hotel breakfast is a buffet style of both Japanese and Western cuisines, including hot dishes, bakery, fruits + yogurts, rice and soup, as a vegetarian I have less selection but still good enough to fill up my stomach.
Overall it's a pleasant stay👍🏽

AAmirahGion stn exit 2. No escalator or lift at that exit. This is an unmanned hotel. Self service check in and check out using tablets. Had trouble checking in because could not find my reservation even after trying a few times. Called the operator using the link in the tablet and he helped resolved immediately.
1 laundry machine located next to the entrance. Free coffee from 7am to 8pm. Free breakfast too. Free towel and toileteries. Only 1 lift but I never had to wait long. No room cleaning service even if stay more than 1 night but can return and replace towel. I stayed 7 nights and got nothing to complain except the bidet in toilet not functioning.
Llevy lynGood but a little bit walking. Staff is so-so compared to staffs in Tokyo or Osaka, not that helpful and acccomodating. Room is big. Bed is small.
